Passive Parenting on Planes

A long-haul Air France business-class flight became the latest battlefield in the screaming-cabin debate after a passenger reported hours of nonstop crying from a toddler while the parents appeared largely disengaged. The internet did what it always does: split into camps. One side argued that children cry and air travel is public. The other argued that “public” does not mean “parents may stop trying.” Jetiquette Court is not confused. The child is not the scandal. The adults are the issue.
